Together, Fritz-Kola is working with Klim to Transition Sugar Beet Cultivation to Regenerative Methods. This shift allows Fritz-Kola to have a direct impact on the sustainability of one of its key ingredients. Insetting instead of offsetting! Fritz-Kola has partnered with six farmers who want to be part of this transformation, and we are honoured to accompany and support them in the regenerative transition of their operations, including financial support. In addition, the farmers will be equipped with all the educational and informational resources they need for the transition to regenerative farming methods through the Klim Platform. Together, we aim to produce 2,000 tons of sugar from regenerative agriculture, which will then become part of our supply chain. This will simultaneously save 1,800 tons of CO₂ and promote biodiversity.
To partner siteFritz-Kola is guided by strong values and clear goals. The company focuses on supporting an open and democratic society, protecting the environment and climate, and fostering social projects. To reduce transportation distances and emissions, Fritz-Kola partners with suppliers and bottlers that are as local as possible. The company is also dedicated to resource-efficient production. In its efforts to contribute to the 1.5°C climate target, Fritz-Kola has set specific emission reduction goals in line with SBTi standards and makes climate-conscious business decisions. Rather than purchasing certificates, Fritz-Kola has chosen to invest directly in meaningful climate protection measures within its supply chain, such as sustainable practices in the cultivation and processing of raw materials like sugar.

Farmers reduce CO2 and store carbon in the soil by diversifying their crop rotations, reducing the use of plant protection products and fertilisers, or minimising soil cultivation. Our flexible platform makes emissions measurable on the farm and compensates farmers for reducing and storing emissions.
